All you funny people out there…………………………?

Firstly let me start off with a joke:
A lawyer married a woman who had previously divorced ten husbands. On their wedding night, she told her new husband, “Please be gentle; I’m still a virgin.
“What?” said the puzzled groom. “How can that be if you’ve been married ten times?
“Well, husband #1 was a Sales Representative; he kept telling me how great it was going to be.
Husband #2 was in Software Services; he was never really sure how it was supposed to function, but he said he’d look into it and get back to me.
Husband #3 was from Field Services; he said everything checked out diagnostically but he just couldn’t get the system up.
Husband #4 was in Telemarketing; even though he knew he had the order, he didn’t know when he would be able to deliver.
Husband #5 was an Engineer; he understood the basic process but wanted three years to research, implement, and design a new state-of-the-art method.
Husband #6 was from Finance and Administration; he thought he knew how, but he wasn’t sure whether it was his job or not.
Husband #7 was in Marketing; although he had a product, he was never sure how to position it.
Husband #8 was a psychiatrist; all he ever did was talk about it.
Husband #9 was a gynaecologist; all he did was look at it.
Husband #10 was a stamp collector; all he ever did was … God, I miss him!
But now that I’ve married you, I’m really excited!”
“Good,” said the husband, “but, why?”
“Duh, you’re a LAWYER. This time I KNOW I’m gonna get screwed!”

Anyway I see you all have some good jokes and I would really like for you to join my group on facebook and post some of your jokes there please It’s a very enjoyable group with almost 1000 funny pictures and plenty of funny jokes!! Please follow the link http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2257249815
Little minx, it’s a bit of both. Firstly I put a joke for your entertainment and the small note afterwards is an advert so you could be even more entertained. Trust me, people enjoy my group!

It really depends on where your job is located. I work in Marketing in Manhattan and $100k is a normal/ attainable salary for a Marketing job at a good firm. You just have to get your foot in the door. My suggestion is to get in with a good firm, no matter what the position. Name recognition is huge! I started out as an Adminstrative Assistant in a really great firm and now 7 years later I am heading up a Marketing team at a top Investment Bank in Manhattan. Best of luck to you!

In my field (restaurants), we often use entry level marketing people to spread the word about things like our catering service to local businesses. Often times with restaurants the corporation will reimburse the franchise for whatever is paid to the marketing person, so we are more willing to give someone relatively new to the field or with limited experience a chance. Search for local franchise offices for restaurants with catering services like Panera or even some fast food places.

Marketing Jobs!?

I have a friend that ot a degree in Business Admin with an emphasis in Marketing. She lives in a very small town about an hour to hour and a half from any large city. She worked for me full time part of her way through college. She had excellent skills and was very ethical. She earned her way into management and as a management trainer and was successful at both while still attending college full time. She thought that the company was going to move her into its marketing department but the company had major money problems and couldn’t promote her and doesn’t look like it will be able to any time soon. She loves marketing and is desperate to get into this field. But can hardly even get a response to her resume’. She has tried getting on with major corporations and wouldn’t mind getting on with a minor one but she’s not able to just up and move without a job.
She should consider an internship somwhere to get more experience, it isn’t as rare as it might seem to take one after you’ve graduated. I would also consider sales for a marketing company, or working as media buyer or receptionist as a foot in the door type of thing.

Standard Search Engine Optimization tactics include creating content feature keyword phrases that represent your topic, this happens naturally but you can help improve your ranking with a little more attention to keywords. The free Google Keyword Tool (search for it) will list the most used search phrases based on a few samples you enter, save a list if these, you might search for them one by one to gauge how good a site has to be to get on page one for that particular phrase. Stay on topic as much as possible to make abundantly clear to the search engines what your site is about.

Spend some time at Webmster or Internet Marketing Forums to learn more SEO techniques, getting links from other sites is key, commenting on other blogs can be a nice start.

1. Gain attention
2. Make money
3. Both

Most of the time, its both.

Liberalism gone insane? No. Its people looking for a buck.

EXAMPLE
A person suing McDonald’s because they spilled HOT coffee on themselves.

COMe on people. COFFEE IS HOT. If you don’t know that, then don’t drink it, for god’s sake.

Suing a FAST FOOD RESTAURANT because they made you fat.
GOOD GOD!!! Logic says, DON’T EAT THERE. Or Don’t eat 12 friggin burgers, ya fat pig!!!

Should they? Yeah. Its not a right, it the grand sense of the word, but, if you do your due diligence, you know you have to do it to please everyone all the time, rain or shine.

Our society is TOO litigious. NO wonder the courts can’t get anything done. They are clogged I don’t even think ROTO ROOTER could unstop the drain.

Scott answers:

Hi,

let’s use the information you provided as a guide:

– I’m good with communications and I’m a social person , I like to chat, talk , and I’m good with presentations.

Those characteristics are always useful but due management is more relationship-based I would suggest this choice.

– The problem with me is “I’m lazy, and my memory is not good, I forget.

Less useful characteristics, in this case accounting would give you more time to check your results. At the same time accounting require in-depth knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS rules also a good long-term memory is necessary.

– I’m not that smart in mathematics not that awful.

Accounting is all about numbers. In this case I would suggest management w/o forget you cann’t avoid calculations in any of both rules.

– I hate rules ( I don’t like to be controlled with someone’s ideas).

You will be always submitted to other’s influences. As a accountant you have to balance the pressure from both the regulator and the firm. As a manager from both the customer and the firm. Depends from your attitude witch one is more sustainable for you.

As often with few data, and at all anyway, we are pretty close with 1 for accounting, 2 for manager and one undefined that can easily lead to parity.

I suggest to talk with someone that know you well. At the end trust what you was feeling as less overwhelming in your, few I suppose, previous experiences.

Hope useful.

“Globalization
It means doing things on a global scale. Nowadays business markets extend around the world and it is possible because of modern communication system which allows to communicate with different counties and continents within seconds. A great example of globalization is the British service sector (BT, Talk Talk, The Cooperative Bank) because it is able to communicate and deal with customers form call centers located in India. Currently eastern European economies like China and India have a great contracts with the world trading system. In the result of it businesses can benefit because they have access to cheap labor, t-shirts and other textiles for China

Thinking about Disneyland, they can use employees and productions facilities abroad to produce souvenirs which they sell in Disneyland Resorts. Disneyland is also a great example of doing things on a global scale because they have theme parks in The United States, Europe and Asia.”

“Competition
It is the contest between businesses which trying to gain their customers. Competition involves providing identical/similar goods or services in the same market in competitive prices. Customers can benefit from competition because of better choices and lower prices for products and services.

Currently Disneyland is one of the most visited and the most recognisable theme parks in the world. Disneyland is one of the world’s most popular attractions. Many people think that it is one of places that can never be beat, however there are some competitive businesses like for example legoland which is really worth visiting. Currently Disneyland is the biggest them park in France and they have monopoly but if legoland had decided to open a new theme park in France and invested more money in marketing campaign Disneyland could have had serious competitor”

I’m unwilling to annoy potential or existing customers, so what marketing perspective is best for me?

My reason for needing to own my own business is the need for integrity. Most of the companies I’ve worked for have perpetual integrity issues, including their marketing methods and perspectives. I do Geek Squad-like tech support, and I have a recipe for success, other than a somewhat ‘beatnik’ attitude towards marketing. My current marketing plan includes:

-Business networking meetings
-Being prepared to describe the benefits of using my services
-A concise Website with free training and well-considered SEO
-Pens, pads of paper and other useful items with my logo for existing and potential customers
-A Facebook page for my business
-Submitting to typical advertising venues like Google and Superpages

I’m planning on putting some money into advertising, but I’m concerned that my complete unwillingness to ‘bother’ customers could make for a very slow start.
Examples of what I consider bothersome (but seemingly necessary) practices include:
-Nagging customers (on the phone, specifically) to allow me to finish projects/do needed maintenance
-Forcing promotion of my business into casual conversation

Any tips, books, or Websites you’re aware of in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Most of the existing materials out there aren’t geared towards people like myself.

I would blog about technical things(shows your tech knowledge and establishes you as an authority… If done right) that would a.) Make your customers call by reading about enhancements and upgrades or b.)Give your customers answers to small fixes that you would tell them over the phone before you decided to come out: saves you time from being on the phone. I would also add a funny quote or pic to it that people would send or link their friends… Whatever draws them to your site and gets your name in their heads. I’m actually looking for blog sites at the moment so can’t help you there, but I do read my friends techs blogs, at least the ones that have tips.

You could even hire a 24/7 live tech if you have enough business where you get several phone calls after/before business hours.

One thing I do is get involved with community. Find a local fair or weekend market and sponsor it, add a booth, get seen. A booth can cost you as little 100 for the weekend in some places, have it staffed and covered with flyers and tech tips. You’d be surprised how many local events would be more than glad to have another sponsor, even if its only 100. Gun shows, exhibitor markets, community fairs, bike rallys, blood drives, school parks and fields, sports teams, race cars/bikes, bands, concert halls, farmers markets, etc.
Find an events page in your community or local radio website and get involved.

You also can have banner exchanges with other companies that have related services.

Scott answers:

For most people, it’s just as well to sign up using your own name and SS# (if you are in the U.S.). Most legitimate Network Marketing companies would allow you to transfer the business enterprise to an LLC or corporation later if you start making a larger income that requires some protection. One exception would be if your current full time job has restrictions that forbid you to have additional employment. In that case you may be able to hide the second job better by signing up using a separate business entity. Another reason to consider the LLC or corporation route would be if you have current legal issues such as a upcoming or pending divorce or debt collection issues that could lead to an attachment of income or assets. If this is the case, the LLC may shield your business income from collection efforts.

Good luck in the new business. If you will do the work that is required, these things can earn a very good income.

Scott answers:

Hi,

Wow! I’m glad you asked about MLM, aka Network Marketing.

Freakanomics is right – network marketing is a hoax. Get the book:. Freakonomics [Revised and Expanded]: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything (Hardcover) by Steven D. Levitt

Check out this book at your local library. How to Take Advantage of the People Who Are Trying to Take Advantage of You: 50 Ways to Capitalize on the System (Paperback)
by Joseph SB Morse

Be informed. Practice due diligence. Demand proof. Proof that can be verified. Bank statements, tax returns, etc.

Get this book at your local libary or Amazon: (False Profits: Seeking Financial and Spiritual Deliverance in Multi-Level Marketing and Pyramid Schemes (Paperback)
by Robert L. Fitzpatrick .

Only the most virulent, ruthless, aggressive, sweet-talking con artists are successful at Network Marketing. You have to be willing to fool a lot of people into thinking you have a plan for financial Nirvana and they will talk a lot about altruism and spirituality and how working an ordinary job is a dead end They call it Just Over Broke (JOB). In reality, you will go broke buying worthless MLM products at sky-high prices.

It’s like a chain letter, a pyramid, a Ponzi scheme. Don’t believe people when they say it isn’t. They lie through their teeth. MLM is a snake-pit of liars and those that aren’t lying are hopelessly misinformed.

Read this before you waste any money on Network Marketing: (http://skepdic.com/mlm.html).

You will hear a lot of arguments that make network marketing sound like the Holy Grail of home based “businesses”. Like comparing apples to computer chips. You will always hear some very convincing arguments that it is legitimate – every one is a con and illustrates how creative con artists are.

The are very CON-vincing – that’s convincing with a capital C for calamnity, a big O for obnoxious, and N for nauseous. There are no nuggets in this scam. See: (http://www.quackwatch.com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/mlm.html).

Here are the 10 biggest lies of network marketing (http://www.mlmwatch.org/01General/10lies.html); read the truth and steer clear of this world-wide hoax.

MLM is the biggest scam in the world and it is going global with companies like Tiens.

They will tell you that all you need is fresh leads from a good mailing list and people will sign up faster than a NASCAR race car.

Are you kidding me? Fresh MLM leads! Don’t fall for that.

Get real.

Remember, There’s a sucker born every minute…and two to take ‘em. Burn that into your brain.

If their leads are so good, where is their money-back guarantee? Leadbakery is just one example of a list seller and they are even worse than the MLM companies.

Listen! There has never been a successful course or book on MLM success – all boil down to this:

talk to lots of people with questions like “If I could show you a way to make lots of money quick, would you be interested?” or “If I could show you a sure-fire way to build a financial fortress that would protect you forever, would you be iinterested?” or “Social Security is not secure. Build a MLM company and retire rich”.

That’s the first warning sign that something is rotten in Denmark.

Yes, some will sign up, but unless you are a “heavy hitter” and use illegal methods to trap people into becoming distributors, honest people cannot succeed at this.

Do you know why these courses never work? None of them work because the concept is a con – it’s the confidence man’s dream, jam packed with hype and hypocrisy.

The only people that will be making money are the list brokers selling the mailing list – and the course writers and seminar creators. If it was such a good deal, why wouldn’t they join a MLM company? The mailing list would be free to them. You don’t see them giving up a lucrative mailing list business to get into something that doesn’t work. They are smart. They get it. And expensive training courses – what a joke. They offer courses that will never work for the gullible and naive – the GRQ crowd.

And I always wondered why none of the people who worked the administrative side of the “business” were not distributors if it was such a great deal. They knew a job was better than the smoke and mirrors, pie in the sky hype used to sell MLM. They knew that only the heavy hitters made any real money.

MLM is the world’s biggest scam. I have tried it a couple of times, the last being Herbalife. It has now moved into the Internet to trap people into believing that they can Get Rich Quick. It is going global.

The only way to make big money is to sell distributorships for thousands of dollars or sell seminar tapes and books.

I once went to a seminar given by Herbalife. The president came to speak. We thought we would learn the secret from the horses mouth on how to get the fiasco to work. We couldn’t believe how shallow his advice was. It boiled down to “talk to a lot of people”. That was his “secret”..

If you do the math, and you are able to sign up lots of people, which is doubtful, you soon run out of people. You get 2, then those 2 get 2, etc. It the old binary progression. Do it 10 times and you are in the thousands. With every progression, the number doubles. 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024, 2024,4048,9096. The problem is those people in the beginning of the progression opt-out and gobble up the progression faster than Pac-Man. This is known as the “Drop Out Rate”.

So what happens when thousands of people are doing this and with the internet it could be millions. You soon run out of people to talk to. And most people are smart enough to know it’s a scam so right away you lose a huge segment of potential prospects.

Think about it.

In fact, finally, the numbers will exceed the entire world’s population. It is a total dream world, a fantasy, completely out of touch with reality. It always looks good on paper, but none of the “heavy hitters” want to talk about drop-out rates.

Hey! What looks good in a spreadsheet, doesn’t translate to reality.

The fact is that only the people who set up the program make money. The next level is all those scam artists that sell and give seminars on how to succeed in MLM. None of the schemes work because the concept is fatally flawed.

Why would anyone with a brain pay $30 for an herbal shampoo that they can buy at the local supermarket for $1, maybe $2 or $3 at the most. The same with pomegranate juice and Noni juice and all the other miracle juices, algae, and other strange things, even flower pollen.

Are you kidding me?

Get real.

Next, you will read all the anecdotal claims that the product will cure cancer and all sorts of other maladies. This is just another form of fraud. Where are the scientific double and triple blind studies? There ain’t any. Sorry.

Listen! Don’t forget this. Ask about the drop-out rate. Yes, the drop out rate.

Over 99% of the people who sign up will drop out after a few months or less. So even if you sign up a few people, they will be gone in months, if not weeks, when they find out how many people they have to talk to for just one distributor.

And your friends, co-workers, and relatives will not like you badgering them to join and will avoid you at all costs.

And most of the people who sign up are down-and-out desperate, who can ill afford to waste their money and who may be liable to criminal prosecution for promoting unregistered securities. And that’s just in the USA. Foreign companies like Tiens leave you no recourse to any real legal remedies or enforcement.

And do you really know what’s in this stuff? Of course not, it’s jjust some con artist’s word. For all you know, it could be like the tainted dog and cat food from China. It’s not regulated. There is never any USP seal on it (United States Pharmacpeia).

Most of these programs die eventually leaving the suckers who signed up holding the bag. I had them die on me and not knowing any better, signed up for the latest MLM scam. After several attempts, I finally came to realize that it was all just a scam – some people became almost like religious zealots when they talked about their program that was going to make everyone rich and quick too. I lost a good friend when he believed my wild claims, put down $3,000 and lost it all.

The “industry” is full of disingenuous people whose mantra is “Fake it ’til you make it”. Doesn’t work. More fraud. They will give you testimonials of people who have made money, but they are liars and what they say cannot be proven. If it’s so great why is there so much hype?

Here is a trick your upline will employ to get reluctant prospects to sign up. They will tell Ms. Reluctant that they will put some people under her and they take Mr. Hopeful who has already become a distributor and paid the fee and stick him under Ms. Reluctant which forces Ms. Reluctant to either buy in or lose the distributor. This is what happened to me in Herbalife. I was Mr. Hopeful. I thought I was signing up under a successful guy at the top known as a “heavy hitter”, but I soon found out I had been scammed. Without telling me, he put me under Ms. Reluctant to force Ms. Reluctant to become a distributor. I did not like my new sponsor and after spending thousands on mailings, I finally dropped out. This is known as “stacking” and is supposedly illegal but it happens all the time.

Listen! My upline in Herbalife made more money selling a sales pamphlet than they did working their MLM business. We mailed out thousands of these pamphlets that we bought from our sponsor for a dime and he probably had them printed for a penny or less. He sold so many of them he had to set up a warehouse to hold and ship them.

Now, it’s all done on the Internet via e-mail. But instead of mailing booklets, you get a Web site and collect e-mail addresses. But a fraud is still a fraud no matter what the media is that promotes it.

This was right before the Internet became popular and I was buying mailing lists through mailing list brokers and mailing thousands of booklets with not much success. I was lucky if 1% of 1% signed up as distributors. And they dropped out faster than I could add new ones.. Pretty soon, you run out of quality people to mail to. The internet makes this even worse, but they have to be more careful, but the spam continues to explode.

Check out this Web site: http://www.vandruff.com/mlm_faq.html… – for more facts, not hype about MLM and what a world-wide fraud it is.

I will probably get lots of MLMers who will villify me for trashing MLM, but I’ve been there and done it and I know first hand what a fraudulent scam it is that can destroy your life, drain you wallet and ruin your friendships.

P.S. Remember, there are no get rich quick schemes that work. If there were, the entire world would be rich in an instant, or as they say, a New York minute. I used to be gullible and naive and fell for some of them – no more. Be a sceptic. Be a doubting Thomas. Why are there thousands of GRQ schemes, because they work! Thousands of Gullible people believe that there is such a thing as GRQ and con artists take advantage of that. Demand proof, bank statements, tax returns, not hype.

P.P.S. Jeekers! You gotta remember – if it sounds too good to be true, it is.

P.P.P.S. Find some other way to make money. Have you tried e-bay? Get this book – How to Buy, Sell & Profit on eBay by Adam Ginsberg. Get this one too – Don’t Get Burned on eBay by Shauna Wright. Another good one is: Three Weeks to eBay Profits by Skp McGrath. It cost nothing to sign up and find out about it. There are lots of tutorials where you can learn from the experts and most of it is free. Try getting free tutorials and expert advice from the so-called MLM gurus – free stuff would ruin their con.

Do people do their research on network marketing business before they speak?

It is very interesting to me when I am doing some research on different network marketing business, I found many website and respond pointing out that business such as Amway, Market America, Southern living…etc is a scam. Most of the respond is base on personal experience or story they have heard. However Better Business Bureau rate those business such as Amway (A+), Market America (B+), Southern living (A)? I understand that BBB is not a government agency, however I do give more credibility to BBB than someone I never met before. And business this well-known surely will be shut down by the government if they are scam, right?
I believe that people who take the time to respond or even make a website have to be good people, people who is trying to help someone from doing things they believe is bad.
English is not my first language, if there is any confusion feel free to ask or email me at pokhungpun@gmail.com.

Network marketing is very old honorable business model. Unfortunately, it is also filled with a great many amateurish, unprofessional people that seem to think that running down all other companies except their own is a method of marketing!

Network marketing carries an unfortunate, but well deserved, stigma. It’s not the business model, it’s the distasteful and destructive teqniques that they teach and call it marketing.

If you’re researching, you have no doubt already run into this stigma and from what you’ve said it’s clear that you’ve encountered some of the worst of breed on the internet.

It’s been my experience that those who succeed with a NM business today don’t follow the “company line”. They are innovative and they understand that the tactics of 20 years ago are ineffective today at best.

I’m dropping a link below to an ebook that I recommend to anyone looking into network marketing and it’s required reading for anyone I place on my teams!

Give it a read and I think you’ll find some excellent information for your research.

Network Marketing! Ahh, so how much negative have you heard about this type of business? Well there is lots of it! Fortunately its not so much true. I will tell you the best book I read about network marketing is called “Mailbox Money” its a small paperback and you could finish reading it in a night. You have to be a hard worker, ambitious and self motivated. I am a business owner through a network marketing company. I will not even bring someone on my team (even if they ask) unless I believe they have entrepreneurial qualities. Its a waste of my time as well as theirs. Its not for everyone. Money doesnt flow in right away..well at least with most people. Its very possable to gain a good income fast, depending on you. It is one of the best ways build residual income for life. Its basically YOU building a TEAM and a lot of people of moving a little product.
#1st step to choosing a company. Do your research first! Not by googling it and reading all the crap out there. You will find negative feedback on every single MLM (multi level marketing) company out there. Go to that company’s site. How long have they been in business? There is always the “next” big thing coming and then its gone and so are all the hard working people.
#2- Whatever the product be…it must have a demand with a need for more products. Preferably monthly orders, consumable products. What is the market trend for this product? Do your research. If its a juice…think about it…how many companies have a “super juice” how will you tell a new customer yours is better? Why is it different? Competetion is good, that means there is a want for that product. But what sets it apart from competitors?

Average income…anywhere from a couple hundred a month –to—sky’s the limit. I wont even throw $$$’s out there. Because your likely to be skeptical. I see it in my business a lot.

I hope this helps you in choosing the right MLM for you! And hold on, because its the journey to success thats the most rewarding part!
If you have more questions feel free to contact me–nsedreams@rocketmail.com
Good Luck!!

We need a general MLM related forum in Yahoo Group to response MLM related topic. What you think,?

Hello,

We all know (hopefully at least agree) that MLM, Network Marketing, Referral Marketing, Word-of-Mouth Business, Affiliate Marketing is one of the most misunderstood industry in US. Since there are so many positive and negative comments in Yahoo Answer, I personally think we need to address these topics in certain Yahoo Group.

I am planning to open one Yahoo Group to address MLM related topic. I do not know what you guys think.

The people who are involve in the industry know that our industry is not so reputed and respected. Most of the reason is Hype and Lies. However there are good companies and certainly good products.

My main goal is to introduce Network Marketing in a form that people understand the business and respect it. Most anti-mlmer hate this industry due to the misconception.

I need every bodies help (People who are favor of MLM), we all know we can share the greatness of MLM and let people know the true face of the business.

Laura J’s answer is riddled with classical MLM issues. She comes across as a nice person so people want to believe her and maybe even sign up with her, this hardly makes what she states as fact.

Let’s address:

She states the economic impossibility of making more money off of recruiting than sales. She evidently is not as educated on MLM as she professes because I can attest first hand that there are MLM companies who charge exurbanite fees to join and then offer bonuses to the reps when they sign people up. The image that its about product sales is given but the reality is its quite possible (and quite common) than one pays several hundred dollars to sign up and earns thousands merely by the bonuses for signing others up without regard to the product. As far as the economy of it all, well, in reference to the head company even if they make little or no money on the training materials that are given back as bonuses, they still stand to only gain from having the network grow as even a tiny portion of sales from each rep is a gain to them. So DO NOT be swindled by such statements as “economic impossibility” that people in MLM like to throw around to thwart you from the actual truth.

She states further that a study of Network Marketing shows that its about sales. This of course is mere rhetoric since even a simple investigation into the largest public MLM companies show that the average sales per rep are less than $100/year. Look it up on yahoo finance as all the data is there. If it was about sales as oppose to recruiting, this would not be so despicable. The fact that the head company stands to gain no matter if the rep does sales or recruits a number of people would make most people cringe if they would ACTUALLY do an investigation into the numbers.

As far as the product being in demand, this again is merely propaganda used to convince people to sign up. If the products were in such high demand, why are they only being sold through reps? Wouldn’t it be logical for the company to offer the products on its own?

It is very true that you will not make sales selling vinyl records, but you can bet if you asked the countless people with garages full of MLM product they never sold that vinyl records are hardly the only thing that can’t sell. Not to mention, considering how MLM is set up, there is chance that you could sell vinyl records because the reps joining would be the best customers buying it in droves selling the dream. Yes, I am being facetious, but the point is clear.

She also states that leverage is the reason that they don’t share how much money is being made. At this point, I really have to wonder if anyone could possibly be so easily fooled by such a line. The fact that high incomes are used to draw people into MLM. The fact is that people never are willing to prove the high incomes they used to draw people into MLM. You can call it leverage or whatever you want, but if you are going to use high incomes as a draw but can’t back it up, then you are a fraud.

The fact that it is an equal playing field has no bearing on the above. No one is debating whether people in MLM have the equality of opportunity to achieve the same thing. The fact that she would use this to answer the question regarding proving incomes is nothing but a bait and switch, where she answers a question we all agree on and tried to imply that she answered the question she had no real answer for. It is this very style of used car salesman mentality that makes MLM so dangerous because the average person doesn’t recognize this type of swindle.

She states, “what I make should not influence what someone else can make”. Yes, but when you use what you make to influence someone joining, you should be able to verify that unless you are lying and a fraud.

As far as MLM companies not going public on recruitment, perhaps again a simple investigation into the public issues with Amway would be nice. The average Amway rep sells far less than $100/year in sales. Yes, Amway itself has made billions, but its plain and simple that it is by merely having countless reps recruit other countless reps all selling the bear minimum on average. Amway does well with this, the reps do not unless you believe the commission on $100 annual is good money.

So either this public company is made up of reps making about 1 hour of minimum wage work a year in incomes, or they are making money on things other than sales. Either way, the company was able to successful go public without its reps doing large amounts of sales. As they say, the proof is in the pudding.

I would imagine being the owner of the parent company is a great way to make money as long as you can sleep at night knowing you are screwing people to make your money.

It would be nice if someone who argues for MLM would actually be able to back up the statements they say for once and actually answer the questions posed to them without redirecting to other topics, but I suppose when you have an entire industry that is complete fluff you can’t expect any better.
